#BlackLivesMatter and the Montgomery Story Comic Book

Martin LutherKing Jr and the Montgomery Story Comic Book

Many decades ago (in 1956), this comic book:
"#MartinLutherKingJr and the Montgomery Story" documented the inspiring story of the nonviolent #CivilRights movement in America.

12 years ago, I translated this comic book into Arabic (thanks to my amazing colleagues at the American Islamic Congress, at that time) and it inspired young Arabs to adopt #MLK's nonviolent strategies to "nonviolently" stand up for their rights during the early years of the Arab Spring (before it gets ugly, later!):

Today, the American movement leading #BlackLivesMatter and #GeorgeFloydProtests need to go back to this comic book and learn about nonviolent action.

Always remember:
Committing to and showing high discipline to nonviolent action is key for your success.
